Learning English is
allowed to be fun
Have you ever thought
about reading your child a goodnight story in English? Why not? You could
either choose to read one line in English and then translate it into German
or better still only read the story in English.
The child will learn
(just like in its mother tongue) to connect the words with the pictures.
In some groups that I teach, the children are unaware that I speak German
and the "reading only in English method" really works wonderfully.
Usborne books are really
excellent and stimulate all senses. Children love them! Give it a try!
